Schynige Platten Romantic Cog-Rack Railway “Belle Epoque”

If you want to feel you back in the “Belle Epoque” time –  a very good idea is to make excoursion with the “Schynige Platte” Railway from Wilderswil – . Its a wonderful trip. During the ride you get a wonderful few over the Lake Thun (Thunersee) and Lake Brienz (Brienzersee) and you the Jungfrau Region with the famous “Top of Europe” mountains: Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The Schynige Platte is the gateway for famous hiking trails. The Train Engine and the Rolling stock where  built original in the 19th century. The Cog-Rack Railway is 7 kilometer long and  need 50 minutes one way.
