Walk along Le Santier des Trois Baies in Bourail

This hike is an easy coastal walk and very

beautiful leading you to the best sights in Bourail. La Roche Percéeis a rock formation with a hole in the middle. In kanak culture, la Eoche Percée is an open door for the deceased to access the underwater kongdom. You will walk through the dry forest and will lead you to the beautiful “Baie des Tortues” and you can hear the pine trees dancing in the wind. The second Beach is the secret “Baies des Amoureux” and the third Beach is Bourails Vault, also known as “Shark Vault”. On the way to the Baies des Tortues we could see as well Turtels swimming on the surface of the Ocean. The surrounding is amazing.

The Barrier Reef in Bourail is listed as a Unesco World Heritage site. Feel you free to explore it by self, and swim only in the authoriesed area.
