TOP Mountain Crosspoint Hochgurgl
A new Tourist-Attraction between the ski area Hochgurgl and the Timmelsjoch high alpin road, since the opening from the winter season 2015/16:
TOP Mountain Crosspoint Hochgurgl – crosspoint.tirol over 2100m above the Öztaler-Tyrolan-Alps.
This is where Skiers, Cars- and Motorcyclists and Classic car fans meets together. There are a new Motorbike museum, and the Restaurant Crew will offering their guests the best food and drink over a lasting, pleasant break during their stay at TOP MOUNTAIN CROSSPOINT. Their varied cuisine offers honest, authentic dishes from Austria and Italy, as well as delicacies and seasonal specialities from North and South Tyrol, prepared always ardently with the best available products. I did try once and the food was very delicious and after the order the staff will bring you very quickly the drinks and meals. Everything is made by home-made and hand-made what they offer.
The Restaurant is made by Tyrolean hospitality in a contemporary design with somewhat industrial chic. Its a place where you have to be and take time to relaxe and enjoy the stay and the hospitality. Look around inside and outside. They can offer you also local wines from Italy and Austria, their suggestions for your valuable hours of enjoyment in the Tyrolean mountains. The Mountain Crosspoint and the Museum will be open during the summer- and wintertime.
Hochgurgl is the highest resort in the Alps and is guaranteed snow in the winter months. Whenever it is decided that the Timmelsjoch has to be closed in winter, then the High Alpine Road is closed off from Hochgurgl onwards.
In the summer months, the High Alpine (toll) Road has a little surprise in store for you: the Timmelsjoch experience. Five free centres with interesting information about history, nature, culture, economy and the local people of this region around the Timmelsjoch.
This place is worth a visit. Whether it is to visit and enjoy the Motorcycle-museum or a fine meal in the restaurant and to see the Tyrolan mountain view.
