Top tourist attraction in Copenhagen: Renaissance Castle Rosenborg in the City Centre. A royal hermitage set in the King’s Garden in the heart of Copenhagen, Rosenborg Castle features 400 years of splendor, royal art treasures and the Crown Jewels and Royal Regalia. Here you can see also Denmark’s Crown jewels and royal insignia. One of the main attraction is the hall of knights with the thron for the coronation. Rosenborg Castle Garden is the oldest and most visited park in central Copenhagen. The park also contains several other historical buildings.

During the summertime also plays host to temporary art exhibitions and other events such as concerts. Spend some time in the Kongens Have, a beautifully landscaped park in the heart of the city. The playground in the middle of the park is perfect for kids! There’s a friendly dragon they can ride and a fairy-tale world of golden eggs and wooden figures to explore.

Close to the playgrounds you will find a café serving ice-creams, sandwiches and drinks. There are also toilets at the site.

The Marionette Theatre, situated in a corner of the park, is open from 1 June to 1 September, daily at 2 and 3pm, except Mondays. Puppet shows are in Danish, but your kids may not even notice. We have seen the Marionette Theatre and it was so tangent and cute.
